KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS 125 YEARS OF SERVICE: Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Ogdensburg will honor the Knights of Columbus Councils throughout the Diocese of Ogdensburg as their CARITAS Award recipients at their annual banquet on November 7, 2007. The dinner is being held at the GranView Restaurant on State Highway 37 in Ogdensburg. The cost is $35.00 per person. Dinner is served at 6:30 pm. Reservations are needed. CONFIRMATION PREPARATION CLASSES: The first year of Confirmation preparation for students for St. James Parishioners enrolled in grades 8 and higher will begin classes on Sunday, October 14th starting at 7:00 PM. Don John of Austria destroyed the Turkish fleet in the Gulf of Lepanto.
