A TEACHER’S PRAYER   God of wisdom and truth, bless my efforts to teach the good news of your son, Jesus. Give me the dedication, wisdom and ability to help turn the hearts and minds of my students increasingly to you. Help me to teach them to apply your word to the issues and challenges of their lives. Guide me to fix their sights on creating a world of justice and peace. Nourish my own soul on prayer, word and sacrament so that I may teach faithfully on your behalf. I ask you this in the name of your son, Jesus, who is master teacher to us all. Amen.
